Struggling with any of the symptoms of sugar addiction or emotional eating can be frustrating. Weight gain, bloating, digestive issues and mood swings are just a few of the struggles we battle with emotional eating. Due to high levels of oestrogen, women often have much stronger food cravings and a more difficult time managing weight, in addition to maintaining stable emotional health.

The problem? You have been fighting your body instead of nurturing it.

There is hope for balancing emotions…and breaking free from constant
cravings, binge eating and emotional food connections.

Controlling that emotional connection to food starts from the inside out. I believe that a healthy, balanced woman who feels her best, will shine and look her best, no matter what life throws at her. I help women from all ages take action to identify the root cause of their emotional eating struggles and get back on the road to living a balanced, healthy life with far fewer cravings.

Understanding emotional connections to food are the first step to overcoming them.

We all face unique challenges that are specific to our life, including what we put in our body, how our body processes those items and our environment. However, there are also common areas of overlap that hinder us all from living and feeling our absolute best.

What’s your why?

  • Are you a new mum who is trying to balance your life after your new baby, but can’t seem to shake the post-baby blues with your current eating habits?
  • Do you lack motivation and willpower starting a new diet every Monday only to give up by the Tuesday?
  • Someone who has battled your body and yo-yo dieting as long as you can remember?
  • Or maybe you didn’t even notice the extra weight gain since last year, but now you can’t un-notice those extra lbs.

No matter your reason for being here, knowing it is important.

What do you need?

  • Are you the mum who wants to have the energy to play with her kids instead of feeling rundown and anything but sexy?
  • Maybe you just want to be able to prepare healthy meals for yourself and feel energized and vibrant.
  • Perhaps you are worried about your up and down weight in relation to your emotional health and want to learn how to balance food and emotions.

This all sounds great, but I feel like I have already tried everything!

Motivation and willpower are great when you have it. This is usually high when you decide to try and reach a healthy relationship with food, but it doesn’t last forever. There will be days when you need to find a different coping method to deal with your daily stressors. Having me as your personal accountability will help increase your ability to reach your goals—even when you aren’t keen or motivated to do so.

Food is life, but there does need to be a balanced approach
AND more importantly, feel your best.

Here comes the truth though: Fighting your body when you are eating emotionally is a losing battle.

I know, I know. You are probably thinking, “Christy, what am I supposed to do?! My body is not working with ME! You do not understand how intense my cravings are…” I hear you, but let me share something with you.

Negative changes can easily happen overnight, but good change, the change that lasts a lifetime, usually takes considerably more time. For most women, emotional challenges and cravings can be corrected, through systematic changes and repeated positive action.

“No matter who you are, no matter what you do, you absolutely, positively do have the power to change.” Bill Phillips

My plans are based on whole foods which will help you to naturally detox from sugar.

You will feel amazing really quickly. You will have increased energy, improved mood and best of all you will have freedom from the horrible grips of sugar addiction. I firmly believe that leading a healthy balanced life is down to more than just the food that we eat. It’s important to understand that other aspects of our life can have a detrimental effect on our food choices. So while we focus on improving your diet we will also work together on your self-care, some of these examples are listed below.

I can guide you through a simple, step-by-step process so you can
look better, feel better and live better!

Emotional hunger WILL NEVER BE satisfied by eating! Finding fulfilment from binge eating and the emotional food rollercoasters has to stop.

Life has enough challenges, fighting a losing battle with cravings and emotional connection to food should NOT be one of them.

We have enough to manage: work, family, social life and fitness without complicating things even more with cravings and late night binge sessions.
