No intention of going back to my old ways
Too much sugar was my downfall! I haven’t had any in 32 days!! The jump start challenge really helps because you’re on a journey with others in the group and it encourages you to keep going. Having finished the challenge I have no intention of going back to my old ways, it changes your mindset towards food. Sometimes I think I’ll give myself a treat cause I’ve done so well but when it comes to it, I don’t actually want to eat something that isn’t doing me any good nutritionally! Thanks to Christy and her amazing knowledge I’m finally on the right track!!! The weight loss will happen if you just eat well! Thanks Christy! X
I feel I’m in a good place

I have seen a great start to my weight loss
Thank you so much, everyone, for all your posts, ideas and support. I’ve been quiet with posting the last week but I’m still sticking with everything I have learnt over the last 4 weeks. I have seen a great start to my weight loss goal but most of all I am learning how to eat healthier. And that’s thanks to you all and especially Christy!

I have loved doing this challenge
I have loved doing this challenge over the last 30 days and focusing on what I am eating. I kind of knew my big downfall was skipping meals and too much sugar. But it has been sooo hard for me to stay on track longer than a few days at a time, particularly when I went back to work in the middle of the challenge. But I am determined, my focus for the next few months is to plan and make sure I eat 3 nutrient-packed meals a day. I think with that focus, cutting out sugar will come easier. I have been eating badly for a long time, so will probably take me a while to get back on track and change my lifestyle. Thanks for your guidance over the last few weeks and thank you to everyone for sharing all your meals and tips, its been very inspiring! X

30-Day Body Blitz Challange
The biggest change for me has been the move away from convenience foods and snacks to healthy ‘real’ foods and snacks and cutting down on fizzy drinks to drink more water. I have so much more energy and have enjoyed learning to exercise. I’m definitely going to continue, 5 weeks to my big birthday and I’d like to continue averaging a 1lb loss a week, slow but sure for the long term lifestyle change.
Final weigh in 5lbs off and 3.5”. Especially delighted to lose 1.5” off my waist. My target was 6lbs which I would have achieved if I hadn’t had a couple of nights out at the weekend. Will get it off this week. Now to maintain it and get more exercise in. Thanks to Colin & Christy & to all the group, enjoyed reading your posts.

The body blitz challenge has been an amazing kick start into a lifelong lifestyle change. Christy and Colin are both professionals who you can tell love their jobs. I feel much stronger and I think I’ve been sleeping better. I’ve lost enough weight to feel a difference which is motivating me to keep going:-) I’ve enjoyed thinking about healthier snack options. Still enjoying too much wine but balancing intake with exercise really helps. I’m hoping to put together some exercise routines made up from the ones we have been doing and ensure I do them 3/4 times a week. Thanks for getting me to this stage – it’s been really helpful.

I’ve lost 5 lbs over the month and 3 inches. Delighted and despite having cake and a couple of wines this weekend, I’m determined to keep it up to get to my target. Slowly and surely, without crazy dieting.
Thank you so much to you and Colin for all your help during the body blitz. All your advice really made me think about my eating habits. What I eat, when I eat, how much I eat. Colin’s homework outs are absolutely brilliant. Simple to follow and very effective. In terms of results, I’ve lost 10lbs (I didn’t take measurements but clothes feel great on again) doing the 4-week body blitz. I intend to keep going and continue with the home workouts which are fab when I have a 2-year-old and 5 year old. I’m determined the changes I’ve made over the last 4 weeks are going to be long term. I had slipped into too many bad habits. One of the worst was snacking in the kitchen on rubbish (ironically while cooking and preparing my boys the healthiest of foods/ meals), and eating late at night when my hubby got home. I’ve started to eat the same as the boys and with them at tea time. Thanks so much to both of you again. I will definitely recommend to others.
Over the 4 weeks, I’ve only lost 4lb in weight but I’ve lost a total of 12 inches including 3 1/2 inches from my waist! Really enjoyed the workouts and found they fitted in well to my busy life. Definitely feeling stronger and fitter and that my diet is more balanced now and that this eating plan is sustainable long-term rather than being a crash diet. Thanks to Christy Hyslop and Colin Cox. Pleased to say this week I’m still meal planning and prepping and continuing with Colin’s home workouts.
